Event: Workshops series on educational project management ahead of the Girls in STEM program – 2nd edition
Series of four webinars aimed at teachers and school leaders will address the importance of developing projects that encourage the participation of girls in science
The program STEM in Girls: Education Future Scientists is a program developed by the British Council and seeks to provide training and education activities for Brazilian teachers and school leaders who have projects with the aim of encouraging the interest and access of girls and girls to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). In its first edition in 2021, the program was implemented in partnership with the STEM Education Hub and the Museu do Amanhã.
In this second edition, the first stage of the program will consist of 4 online sessions, which involve lectures to teachers and other school leaders highlighting the importance of developing projects that encourage the participation of girls in science, in addition to providing tips and guidelines regarding the preparation and management of projects.
The activities begin on November 17 and will be broadcast through the Zoom platform. Participants can register for either the 4 sessions offered or only for the lectures that are of their specific interest.
